The World Premiere of "SCRIBE" by Peter AB Wilson a contemporary work as up to date as tomorrow and "KINGDOM OF SWEETS" from Tchaikovsky's popular "NUTCRACKER" Ballet.

Joining the Young Dancers are their special guests:
Jessica Thompson (Australian Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet and Melbourne Ballet)
Andris Toppe (Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company and Choreographer for famous skating team Torvill & Dean.)
Peter AB Wilson (Winner Australian Choreographic Competition and Australia Council for the Arts Grant recipient, Peter performed as James with the YDCCQ in La Sylphide and has recently returned from New York where he was in demand as a dancer, choreographer and musician.)
Helen Graham (Ballet Master for the YDCCQ makes her debut as a performer with the company. Helen choreographed Calliope, another world premiere and is a well loved teacher in the region.)
About "SCRIBE"
Choreographer Peter AB Wilson says about "SCRIBE, "... I am working to create a theatrical choreography that is perhaps unlike anything that Central Queensland audiences have seen before...Scribe is very much a dance work. It has challenging choreography for all the dancers; going beyond what students might expect early in their training. I have found all the dancers taking part to be very talented and it is a credit to their Central Queensland teachers. Scribe has something for everyone to enjoy."
